it looks good but if thats the actual picture of the case than its not made for the 3g. the top is covering the light/proximity sensors.

Pros: Great looking case - especially if its rubber. Cons: If the picture is correct (as previously mentioned) it covers the light sensors on the top of the phone ... and it WILL NOT WORK. The screen will go blank.
I bought a case for my iPhone 3G about a week after the iPhone came out (July 2008). When I put it over the phone it covered the light sensors on top and acted the way it does when you place the iPhone up to your ear when you receive a phone call - it blacked out the GUI. A little testing and research wouldve prevented this from happening - cmon major company ... not sure how much was spent on designing this case.
