I have an iPhone 3G and the only complaint I have had is that I cant quite get through a busy day without charging. This product solves the problem, seeing that Apple didnt build in a replaceable battery. The little removable power module is quite small and when you plug it into the iPhone, it actually charges the iPhone battery - not run off the "auillary" add on. The little green LEDS count down as it charges up the iPhone. It is perfect for long days - or movies on long flights. The charging unit allows you to charge the iPhone and the extra battery at the same time. I charge on the night stand every night, so I am always good to go. It is a quality product.
